  Auchendarroch is seriously one of the best restaurants I've been to. The food is always so lovely, never drenched in oil, cooked to perfection. Their service is just outstanding, every time we come there is always a friendly vibe and they even recognise us and remember our name. Most lovely staff and seriously, you should definitely be proud of yourselves! Parties they go above and beyond to make it feel as special as ever which is really lovely to see. Very very happy with the service and their attitude! Definitely recommend to anyone for any occasion, if it shall be for parties, dinner for two, girls night out, simply anything. Prices are really affordable especially with the kind of place it is. Bistro style food but with an elegant setting and atmosphere so definitely a bonus if you want a great hearty meal on a romantic occasion.
  Thank you for all you've done for Alex and I and we definitely are coming back soon!

  I come here every now and then with my family and although I wouldn't exactly rate the food at 5 stars, it's a good meal and good value. I cannot commend the service more however. I think his name is Dean, but honestly he is the friendliest most attentive waiter I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Every time we go there he is onto it. Such a friendly face and absolutely excellent service. If only there were more customer service/hospitality workers like him everywhere! All the other staff are wonderful also I must say. I just can't say enough good things about the service at this establishment. Thanks Auchendarroch :)

  NOT HAPPY.
  we went to Auchendarroch for dinner, 17th Aug. We, 2 males, were seated, ordered drinks, then waited and waited to order. sat there talking and drinking, not having any one come to ask if we needed more drinks. 40 minutes later, yes, 40 minutes and no garlic bread or any attention from the staff. Another couple who ordered after us, atleast 15 minutes had their garlic bread presented. We decided enough, went up to pay for our drinks just as our meals were being bought out, the waitress said they were ours but we said we had waited 40 minutes, she then returned the meals to the kitchen, came back to take payment and DID NOT know out table number. payment was made, NO APOLOGY for the delay.
  We went to Auchendarroch as I have been there previously, had good service and good meals. After this debarcle, am not sure if I will go back. went to another eating place, had our garlic bread within 5 minutes of ordering, main course shortly after, all done within the 40 minutes it took to wait at Auchendarroch.. The other eating place had much friendlier staff as well.
  
  I give this particular visit to Auchendarroch 1 reluctant star.. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED.
  would have given zero stars, but had to put atleast one star to be able to post this.
